2 Timothy 1:1-14
Yesterday’s message may be found here.
In this reading from Paul’s letter to Timothy, Paul encourages Timothy in his faith. Paul encourages us today to share that faith and remember those who helped us along the way. How are you doing spiritually?
We can rely on our faith when things aren’t good. If we rely on God, He can be our light in our darkest times.
God also wants us to be in a relationship with Him and with others so that we may bring them to Him. We come together to join in our faith and to care for and show love to others. Our job is to keep it going through the generations. We can do this. Praise God!
Sock-tober Fest – For the month of October, the United Women in Faith are collecting socks and underwear for the women and children who live at Paula’s House. Please place your donations in the clothes basket in the narthex. **See the UMiF bulletin board for specific needs and to learn about the purpose and programs of Paula’s House. Thank you for your generous support!
Rise Up Music Ministry – The worship committee decided to call our volunteer singers the “Rise Up Music Ministry”. We will sing once a month for special services and practice on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm as needed. Anyone, any age, that loves to sing, can come to join us! We will practice this Tuesday October 4 and Tuesday October 11 at 7 pm in the Sanctuary and sing Laity Sunday, October 16. Please see Linda Plumb if you have any questions. There will be a sign-up sheet in the narthex for October’s Rise Up Music Ministry.
